The world is definitely getting scarier nowadays, with us humans finding crazier ways to harm each other. Humanity and basic empathy for each other are basic qualities that are getting so rare nowadays that at the end of the day, we’re all afraid of each other.

A shocking incident happened at Bukit Gambir, Georgetown where three masked men threw a HANDMADE-BOMB into a house when they failed to snatch the bag of the house owner.

At 10am, the three men entered the house to try to rob a bag belonging to the house owner that was believed to contain valuable possessions. But, after an intense struggle with the house owner’s bodyguard, they left the house without the items. Before running away, they managed to throw a DIY bomb and a red bag containing a knife into the house.

A source told Berita Harian,

“The bomb was exploded twice by the Bomb Defusing Squad at 12.15 and 12.20 am and nothing dangerous happened.”

The police are currently investigating the matter and early investigations revealed that this attack stems from debt issues. According to the police, the suspects forced the house owner to transfer bitcoins into their account as the victim’s father owed them money.

It is extremely scary to think of what lengths some people would go to for the sake of extortion. It’s a scary world out there guys, better be careful!
