Maraliner Coaster Bus Crashes Onto Roadside In Perak, Leaving Driver Trapped And Injured

A Maraliner coaster bus was involved in an accident near Jalan Layang-Layang Kanan in Kampung Pendiat, Perak earlier today after the bus skidded and crashed onto the side of the road. The accident left the driver of the bus trapped inside the vehicle before being rescued by the Seri Iskandar Fire and Rescue Department.

As reported by Astro Awani, the driver sustained injuries as a result of the crash and was given initial treatment by Ministry of Health personnel at the location before being referred to the hospital for further action. According to a spokesperson for the Perak Fire and Rescue Department, the department received an emergency call regarding the accident at 12.38pm today and rushed to the scene from their nearest station in Seri Iskandar.

The spokesperson commented,

“The road accident involves a coaster bus that skidded and crashed onto the roadside, causing the victim, which is the vehicle’s driver to be trapped and injured. Thankfully, there were no other passengers inside the bus and the driver has been given initial treatments from MOH personnel at the location.”

Moreover, the Perak Fire and Rescue Department also confirmed that the rescue operation ended at 1.13pm today. After being rescued from the crashed vehicle and safely brought out using a stretcher, the victim was given the proper medical attention.
