The recent road rage incident following a minor accident at Kuchai Avenue has been circulating around social media as many netizens were furious with the road bully’s behaviour. Usually when you are the person who rammed into someone else’s car and it is totally your fault, you would be apologetic right?
Facebook user, Jimmy Soo shared his scary experience of how his car got rammed into as he was waiting to fetch his brother in front of a row of shop houses in Kuchai Avenue. In the February 10 incident, the other car, a Proton Saga made a U-turn and hit Jimmy’s car bumper before driving off.
Jimmy and his brother chased after them and about 400 metres later, the Proton Saga came to a stop due to standstill traffic. When they got down from the car, one of the passengers stepped out and without saying a word, attacked them with a pen knife. What kind of gangster behaviour is this?
Jimmy and his brother were stabbed and beaten up before either of them could reason with their attacker. “My brother fell on the road and was stabbed by the attacker. I was not spared too. He came around blowing punches on my face and smashed my spectacles, causing injuries to my face,” he said.
The driver and another passenger from the car also came out but they did not do anything to stop their friend. Instead, they just stood there and watched as poor Jimmy and his brother got assaulted. Videos and images from other passersby from another angle were also circulated on social media.
Jimmy’s post went viral and police released an alert nationwide as Kuala Lumpur police launched a manhunt for the suspects. According to The Sun Daily, the road bully was arrested on February 12 by the Selangor police. When the police apprehended the man, he was believed to be in possession of drugs as well.
He will be handed over to the Brickfields police as they are handling the investigations about the attack on the brothers. It was not mentioned whether his other two friends would be involved in the investigations as well.
