If you rely on predictions to see how your luck goes, would you blame the predictions that don’t come true?
A video recently went viral on Facebook, which was shared by the page 阿叶圣物介绍 that showed an angry man in Thailand getting physical with a monk. The argument started when the unhappy man approached the monk who allegedly gave him lottery numbers, in which the man was supposed to win. However, that did not happen and the man was NOT happy about it.
He trusted the monk with the predictions and when his expectations were not met, he beat the monk out of anger. A woman in the temple tried to help, but the clip ended before it showed what happened at the end.
“Thanks to you, I’m in debt!”
The unfortunate man really put a lot of trust in what the monk said about the “sure-win” lottery numbers. After getting the numbers, he approached loan sharks for some cash before betting on the numbers given by the monk.
Not only he did not win anything, but the man was now in debt and he made sure the monk was well aware of his fate.
“If it works, everyone would’ve been a millionaire”
Netizens, on the other hand, believe that the man has no one to blame but himself for blindly believing in the predictions, which were obviously a lie.
“If it was effective, they would’ve bought the numbers themselves. Why bother giving it to us?”
“Only idiots will believe them. Be realistic, earn your own money.”
“Brainless. If it works, the monks would’ve been rich themselves.”
“There is no 100% certainties in the numbers. I never put high expectations when it comes to lottery numbers.”
“If the lottery number predictions are real, why would he share it with others?”
“Sometimes, these monks are nothing but scammers.”
Have you ever received advertisement papers outside your doorsteps, which ask you to reach out to the monks in case you’re trying your luck in the lottery?
