If you know you’re in debt with your friends or relatives, it’s best to return the money as soon as possible without the need for the “debt collector” to remind you.

A man in Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya was recently stabbed by his friend for not paying the RM30 that the victim owed to his friend! The incident happened around 12:15 am midnight on Wednesday (6th) when the suspect in his 20s came to the victim’s house in Sungai Wei to collect debts.

The man didn’t get his money back but instead, a huge argument took place. The suspect then took out a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck and left chest, reported Guang Ming Daily.

“The victim screamed in pain and ran inside to seek help from his roommate.”

According to PDRM in Petaling Jaya, the suspect was under the influence of drugs and was unwilling to accept the victim’s refusal to repay the RM30 debt, so he lost control and stabbed the victim.

Assistant Superintendent Shah Runizan pointed out that the police arrived at the scene at 1 am and arrested the suspect.

He added that the victim was rushed to the University of Malaya Medical Center (PPUM) for treatment and is currently in stable condition.

Regardless, there is never a valid reason to get violent on others.
