Ling Iu King, 65, was having a heated argument with his friend Chu Phan Ho, 62, during a drinking session near a restaurant in Sitiawan, Perak. The argument spiraled out of control and his friend Chu pulled out a fire arm and shot Ling.

The Star sighted the police, and reported that the incident happened at around 10.50pm on Friday (June 1) at the parking area outside a restaurant in Kampung Koh, Sitiawan, Perak.

Some witnesses saw Chu Phan Hoo, 61, shoot Ling Iu King multiple times with a double barrel shotgun.

Ling died while receiving treatment at Seri Manjung Hospital.

The video shows Chu firing a shot at Ling while shouting at him. Chu then goes through Ling’s trouser pocket to retrieve a gun before shooting him twice and then walking away.

The police report said that Chu and Ling were drinking together and believed to have gotten into an argument. However the cause of the argument is unknown.

Police managed to track down the suspect’s vehicle on Simpang Dua, Sitiawan following a public tip-off. The report said that Chu allegedly committed suicide via shooting himself.

Police seized both the double barrel shotgun and a semi-automatic pistol from Chu’s vehicle.
