Man in Indonesia Gets Nagged by Police for Pretending to be a Pocong & Not Wearing a Helmet

Living in Southeast Asia means that many of us have supernatural tales to tell. With the many cultures here, there are also many supernatural creatures, such as the toyol, pontianak, and so on.

Recently, highway security footage went viral in Indonesia. It showed a pocong on the back of a 4-wheel drive. A pocong is a ghost wrapped in white funeral cloth.

After seeing that video, many were spooked out. However, it turns out that the “pocong” was a man wrapped in a white cloth.

According to a video by Polsek Patuk on Instagram, the man works as a tent assembler and rents out sound system equipment.

The man with a white cloth hanging on his shoulders has admitted to pretending to be a pocong in a moment of boredom.

It is said that the man was on his way home from work in the back of the 4-wheel drive when he felt chilly and wrapped himself up like a pocong.

“The culprit has apologised for the contents of the video and has said that he will not be repeating it again,” said the police in the captions of the video.

In the video, a police officer is seen talking sternly to the man, telling him to take safety precautions, such as wearing a helmet, when sitting outside the car.

 

Well, he has surely learnt his lesson.
