Most of us have heard of proposal stories ranging from pretty meh to amazing to crazy. This man, however, took it to a whole other level.

Facebook users from the group That’s It, I’m Ring Shaming: The Wreckoning were appalled when a Singaporean woman posted about a farmer making known his marital intentions by putting a diamond ring on a cow’s udder.

Yeah, you read that right.

According to Daily Mail, the post was shared to the group’s 18,000 members from all over the world. The Singaporean woman also posted a picture of the engagement ring in the group.

The picture shows a diamond engagement ring on a cow’s udder.

“Shaming the ring and the whole photoshoot,” she shared in her caption. “The person is a farmer. Still doesn’t excuse his bad taste. And is this considered a nipple ring? Also, the band is thicker than the center stone.”

“If my eyeballs are forced to suffer through this nonsense I’m dragging everyone down with me,” she continued.

The picture has garnered hundreds of comments and reactions from the users in the group. Some users were appalled by the picture.

Some felt a lot of sympathy towards the cow.

Some users even felt like this could be a form of animal abuse.

One thing’s for sure though, almost no one was impressed by the engagement ring pic, most were absolutely horrified.

Still don’t know if the picture is funny, appalling, weird or all of the above. Do you have any engagement or proposal stories worth sharing? Feel free to share it in the comment section below!
