Innocent life forms don’t deserve to be treated this way.

Recently, a video shared on Facebook group Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS exposed a man violently slamming a poor cat on the ground after discovering the innocent creature on the bonnet of his car.

In the video, two people can be heard in the background discussing the incident while reviewing the footage. One of them is believed to be the cat’s owner. The kitten can be seen sitting and playing harmlessly on what appears to be the perpetrator’s vehicle. A man wearing a blue shirt is then spotted heading towards the car. He doesn’t even hesitate before grabbing the cat with one hand and aggressively slamming it down. He then proceeds to get into his car, reverse out of the lot, and drive away as if nothing happened.

Once the video was shared, netizens flooded the comment section infuriated that such a thing could happen. Many tagged the Malaysia Animal Association who confirmed that the cat was receiving treatment for its injuries at a clinic. The incident is said to have taken place near a 7-Eleven at Jalan Rejang, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. Thankfully, the footage managed to capture the perpetrator’s car number plate, and further investigations uncovered the man’s identity for action to be taken accordingly by authorities.

Hopefully, this man is held accountable for his actions. The full video is available here but the viewer’s discretion is advised.
