Ever since the PlayStation 5 was launched, gaming enthusiasts have been placing their orders online, but over in the United States, the stock is extremely limited.
One man from Orem, Utah ordered the PS5 from eBay for $878 (RM3,572) which is double the amount of the original price of $499 (RM2,030), reported Fox 13.
However, what arrived at his doorstep was something far from a PS5. Although there was a legitimate PS5 cardboard box in the package, the man found a big chunk of concrete inside the box instead of a console!
Yikes!
The police have since been informed of the incident and have assured that the man would get his money back, thanks to eBay’s buyer/seller protection. They also warned others to be careful when buying items from sellers that have zero reviews.
Online shopping always comes with the risk of getting faulty or unoriginal items, therefore, it’s always wise to do thorough research on the seller before making a payment.
