8th Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin just announced that telecommunication companies will offer FREE INTERNET worth RM6oo million to all its customers starting from the 1st of April 2020 until the Movement Control Order ends during his announcement of the 2020 Economic Stimulus Package that is supposed to help the people during the Covid-19 outbreak.
An additional RM400 million will be invested to increase coverage and network capability to maintain high availability and quality of telecommunication networks.

However, it was not clarified how the free internet program will be carried out and what further steps will be taken.
