In today’s live press conference by KKM, Health Director-General, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham announced that a whopping 865 new positive Covid-19 cases were recorded. This is a small decrease as compared to the 871 cases recorded yesterday (18 October).

Of the total cases, 858 are local cases while seven cases are imported. Unfortunately, three new deaths have been recorded, and two new clusters were discovered.

A majority of the new cases come from Sabah with 643 new cases and Selangor with 107 new cases. Meanwhile, Labuan records 34 Covid-19 cases.

Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also advised the public to strictly comply with the government’s SOPs as the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic is far more horrendous than the first and second wave.

Stay safe and stay tuned for more updates.
