Now that Apple has basically come out and acknowledged that they have been purposely slowing down the batteries of old iPhones, Apple Authorised Service Providers have since started offering massive discounts on battery replacements for the iPhone 6 and other iPhone models.

Just yesterday (6th March), local Apple reseller Machines announced on their official Facebook page that the Machines Service Centre will be offering battery replacement services for iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone SE for RM129 as of March 2018.

What’s more, they added that this service can be completed within just 4 hours (if submitted by 3pm).

However, the wait period for owners of iPhone 6 Plus and 6s Plus will be extended, as these models are no longer being manufactured and replacement batteries for these phones will only be available in late March or early April.
