Taking to X, a netizen shared a video highlighting how reckless heavy vehicle drivers continue to endanger road users. The latest footage shows a trailer running a red light and crashing into an innocent motorcyclist.

According to the caption, the trailer caused the fatal incident by failing to stop when the traffic light turned red. The incident, which occurred in Permatang Pauh, Penang, was later widely shared on social media.

One user commented, “It’s time the laws are changed.”

“In this incident, I think both vehicles are to blame. We’re taught in driving school to check if the coast is clear before moving when the light turns green.”

“The truck driver should have braked earlier,” said another.
