Car enthusiasts will understand the excitement of having a lot of modifications on your car. Those who have the budget may even get themselves imported car accessories for better quality and look.
Local actor, Pekin Ibrahim revealed that he recently received his GR Yaris Kansai Edition, which came all the way from Japan. Unfortunately, in less than a week, his limited edition car is now a total loss. This happened after 3 of his friends got into an accident in his brand-new car, and Pekin was not at the scene with the incident happened.
Fortunately, his friends survived although 1 of them suffers a major injury – a broken shoulder.
In his TikTok and YouTube videos, Pekin described his car as “total loss” and said that the accident happened somewhere in Putra Heights. Despite the total loss of his car and his friends’ injuries, he’s glad that everyone made it out alive.
In his videos, Pekin thanked all the followers who showed their care and empathy by DM-ing him and asking about his condition, as well as his friends who were involved in the accident.
“To those who contacted me, thank you. Let’s pray for the best for my friends, too.”
How did it happen?
In his videos, Pekin said that he still has no idea about how the accident happened, which resulted in the total loss of his brand-new modified Yaris. However, Pekin wants to focus on his friends first before focusing on how the accident happened.
“There’s nothing much for me to say now, because things are still in the midst of clarification. Let’s just pray for the best.”
At the end of his TikTok video which you can watch below, Pekin also urged everyone to drive safe.
“Be safe on the road, especially when you’re driving a friend’s car. Please be careful.”
His modified and limited edition of Yaris was built from scratch in Japan, and Pekin documented some parts of the process in his YouTube video as a memory.
