Playgrounds are supposed to be a place of fun and joy but one little park in Kampung Melayu, Kluang turned into a parent’s nightmare.

Safika Sahri took to her Facebook page to showcase the severity of her child’s injuries after a double pendulum exercise station had fallen onto him. Viewer discretion is advised.

Sarifa had written, “Peace be upon you. Please pray that no serious harm comes to my child. It all happened so quickly at the scene. Allah, because of the carelessness of irresponsible parties, this happened to the little one. At the playground in Kampung Melayu, Kluang.”

The exercise station had fallen onto the child as he was playing on it, causing a huge gash on his forehead.

The poor little boy has since been hospitalised and is currently being treated for his injuries.

“Ifra Mikayla, be strong, sweetheart. God willing, mama will fight this case for you. As a reminder for all, please be careful when bringing your children to such playgrounds. Don’t be careless even for a second because we may regret it. Let the children cry, as long as we don’t cry,” Sarifa added, determined to take action against the authorities who had so poorly installed the exercise station in the first place.

We understand that parents should also be careful when it comes to their kids’ safety in playgrounds, but how can such a heavy object be installed so poorly to a point where it couldn’t take the weight of a small child?

Sarifa’s posting has since garnered over 1,800 shares.

We genuinely hope that the little boy makes a speedy recovery and is back on his feet in no time!
