In a recent video that’s been making waves online, Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda shared a hilarious story about a fan who approached him for an autograph in a way that had everyone in stitches.

In an interview with Mythical Kitchen, the co-lead vocalist shared how, while he was in Malaysia, a random guy who didn’t speak much English approached him and asked him to sign “something.”

The man asked Mike to sign his baby

When the man made his request, Mike naturally agreed to sign that “something”, thinking it would be something normal. But to his surprise, it wasn’t what he or anyone would’ve expected.

Mike then shared that the man handed him a marker and asked him to sign his baby, holding the baby out for him to sign.

“He asked me to sign something, and I said yes, thinking it would be something normal, and it wasn’t. It was his baby.”

At that point, he felt too committed to back out, so he decided to sign the baby, and not on the baby’s clothes.

“He didn’t want me to sign the clothes. He wanted me to sign the baby. I just want the kid to say, ‘It was me, I got my forehead signed.’ I feel like I’m 60% convinced that I signed on the baby’s head.”
