Entertainment lawyer Samuel Seow has become the talk of the town after a leaked video showed him beating and chasing a female staff member.

Not wanting to take things lying down, the high-profile entertainment lawyer lodged a police report on the 26th of April 2019, citing that he was unsure what the people who posted the video “were trying to achieve”.

The video in question was taken last year when Samuel Seow was Managing Director of Samuel Seow Law Corporation at the time.

The owner of the Beam Artistes management firm came under fire when the video showing him abusing staff went viral on YouTube.

According to The Star, Samuel was seen speaking to one employee believed to be his niece. He then extended his right hand to hit her face and upper body several times.

In the second clip, Samuel chased the same female employee whilst shouting “you beat me” at her.

Having made a police report of the incident, both Samuel and the female staff have since withdrawn both reports pertaining to the event.

Commenting on the resurfaced videos, Samuel said, “I hope to find closure with this issue soon, so I can move on with my life after my mistake from a year ago, so that people who are constantly and conscientiously seeking to damage me can finally also, rest peacefully.”

“Being an entrepreneur is never easy and juggling between finding work, feeding people and paying salaries on time is a constant struggle.”

With the identity of the video uploader still unknown, seeking the closure that Samuel needs just got that much harder.
