A 33-year-old man was arrested for smashing the windows of several cars with a helmet after he was unable to get a room at a hotel.

According to Kluang District Police chief ACP Low Hang Seng, the incident happened at 4.30am today (21 January) when the man tried to get a room at Oro Hotel in Kluang, Johor but became angry when the hotel told him that they were fully booked.

The man then took his helmet and went to the public parking lot in front of the hotel while one of the hotel staff called the police. While waiting for the police to arrive, the staff heard loud noises from the front of the hotel and saw that the man was smashing windows of the cars parked there, reported Oriental Daily.

Four car windows were smashed including the hotel staff’s Proton Waja, a Proton Saga, a Honda Accord and a Mitsubishi Pajero.
