With the recent case of people looting goods from an overturned truck going viral, this story is a breath of fresh air.

A video of boxes full of soft drink bottles falling from a truck when it turned right at a traffic light went viral on the internet recently. What really made the video go viral, however, was what happened after the soft drinks fell.

According to China Xinhua News, the incident in the video happened in Nanjing, China. A truck which was carrying hundreds of soft drink bottles was turning right at the traffic light when the bottles tumbled onto the road from the truck.

The truck stopped immediately and what happened next warms the heart. Some drivers at the traffic light and a number of pedestrians passing by stopped to help pick up the soft drink bottles.

Even though the temperature outdoors was 38°C, people still helped to gather the soft drink bottles. The most amazing thing is that they managed to retrieve all of the bottles that tumbled out of the truck in about 20 minutes.

Yep, that’s right. All of the bottles were retrieved.

It’s wonderful that these people didn’t take advantage of the situation and genuinely helped out. Faith in humanity restored.
