WORLD OF BUZZ received news from KFC that this heavyweight contender that is bound to fill your tummy will be officially launched for a limited time only. Are you ready to sink your teeth into some meat on meat on meat goodness? This meat lovers’ delight has been gone from the menu for about two years, and fans have been clamouring for KFC to bring it back.

Now, they have heard our wishes and have decided to launch it once again. This burger without buns was introduced by KFC in 2012 and was an immediate hit with Malaysians. In case you forgot how it looks and tastes like, it’s made of two Zinger fillets in a Hot & Spicy flavour. These fillets sandwich chicken strips and a slice of cheddar cheese which is drizzled with KFC’s signature Cheezy Mayo sauce.

We tried out the all-meat burger and discovered that it tastes much better than we remembered! The crispy Zinger fillets had that nice Hot & Spicy heat to them while the chicken strips and cheddar cheese filled out the burger nicely. Meanwhile, the fan-favourite Cheezy Mayo sauce simply pulls everything together. We’d recommend adding some of KFC’s chilli sauce to the burger though if you want more kick to it, otherwise, it’s finger lickin’ good on its own as well.

It also makes for a pretty substantial meal which is great for either lunch or dinner. Prices for the KFC Zinger Double Down start from RM12.90 for ala carte. Do note that it’s for a limited time only so grab it when it starts going for sale on 27th August!

Okay, our tummies are ready for 27 August! What about you?
