A heartwarming incident at a primary school in Kedah moved the hearts of Malaysians recently, showing an Integrated Special Education Programme (PPKI) student bidding his farewell to his teacher before making his way to high school next year.
The touching moment was captured on video by another teacher, in which the 12-year-old could be seen tearfully holding the female teacher’s hands.

In a TikTok video shared by @ammarsyahar, a Student Management Assistant (PPM) at Sekolah Kebangsaan Peremba in Alor Setar, Kedah, a female teacher can be seen comforting the student, who is on the autism spectrum and has ADHD.
The teacher wiped away his tears while reminding him not to forget her when he moves on to his new school.
The teacher can be heard wishing the student well:
“I hope you succeed in secondary school. Don’t forget me. If you do well, don’t forget to let me know.”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Ammar also shared his advice:
“Always be mindful of children with special needs. They are human like us, just with different circumstances. They have emotions and feelings too, so let’s not marginalise them.”
The video has since attracted attention from many netizens, including Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek, who responded in the comments.
