JUST IN: Rosmah Released On RM2 Million Bail, Sentences Currently Suspended

Just today, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor was found guilty of all 3 charges of corruption related to supplying and installing hybrid solar energy in 369 schools in Sarawak. For that, she was sentenced to 10 years of jail time and a fine of RM970 million.

Regardless, Sin Chew have just reported that the wife of former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak does not have to go to prison today as she has been released on RM2 million bail. Her jail sentence and fine are currently being suspended as she awaits her appeal.

Free Malaysia Today also reported that the RM2 million was paid 4 years ago in court when Rosmah was first charged in court.

As of 4:50 pm, Rosmah waved goodbye to her supporters outside the court and headed home.
