JUST IN: PM Placed Under Quarantine After Officer At Meeting Tested Positive For Covid-19

Our Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is currently under quarantine after an officer at a post-Cabinet meeting yesterday, 21st May 2020 was tested positive for Covid-19.

This was confirmed in a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office.

The PM has undergone screening this morning and was confirmed to be negative however, he will be placed under quarantine for the next 14 days starting today. Every member of the meeting has also been ordered to undergo screening and self-quarantine beginning today.

The statement clarified that every meeting in the Prime Minister’s office is conducted under social distancing and extreme hygiene protocols at all times.
