Ever since the Movement Control Order got extended, a question that’s been running through most people’s minds is the state of Bazaar Ramadhan. As you might’ve known, states like Selangor and Negeri Sembilan have already cancelled their Bazaar Ramadhan for this year. Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob just announced in a press conference that throughout the MCO, all Bazaar Ramadhan will be cancelled.

However, if the MCO ends, Majlis Keselamatan Negara will release an SOP which will determine if whether the Bazaars can be held within the SOP.

“As long as the second phase of MCO continues or there’s an extension, having Bazaar Ramadhan is not permitted at all.”

Is this statement probably hinting an extension in the Movement Control Order as Ramadhan will only start on the 23rd of April? We just have to wait and find out. Meanwhile, stay safe and STAY HOME everyone!
