About a month ago, Joseph Gordon-Levitt reached out to Malaysians to contribute to various aspects of his new Netflix movie, Project Power.
Previously, he asked for Malaysians to create song bars about the emphasis of power and add to melodies to a basic beat. He also requested Malaysians to speak the word ‘puisi’ which means poem in Malay.
Now, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is reaching out to Malaysians once again, this time to contribute narration along to a script for a video he is making.
Hi friends in Malaysia! The script for the video we're making is almost ready. Now we just need a few people to read it…

He wrote, “Hi, friends in Malaysia! The script for the video we’re making is almost ready. Now, we just need a few people to read it out loud.”
He went on to share that he and his team remixed eight different writers’ contributions to create a poem (which celebrates the beauty of Malaysia’s land and people) for the final script and gave everyone a preview.
“This is Malaysia
Where my heart belongs
Here I wake to bold clouds embracing towering mountains
Where my fingertips touch the sparkle in the air
Peppercorn scents singing melodies of what the day could be
Its jungle is our nest, a kaleidoscope of colors
Sews and twines are in the blueprint of our veins
They are a part of who we are…”
