Khairy Jamaluddin’s fanbase remains strong despite not being in the world of politics anymore. Just last night (October 11), the minister-turned-radio DJ won an award at the 36th Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian (ABPBH).

That is another achievement that KJ could include in his resume. KJ officially joined the radio station in February this year and has since been active in his podcast, Keluar Sekejap.

“It’s never too late to learn something new”

KJ also shared his victory via his Instagram post this morning (October 12) and said that what he thought was possibly a “troll” was a shelter to him after he was sacked from his political party.

The radio DJ also mentioned that politics was his world until the media industry took over his world.

“The media and entertainment industry are not my thing but the place has given me a shelter. They took a chance on me, and I’m thankful for the people who have shared with me the insider’s knowledge of the industry.”

KJ also reminded everyone not to give up and always believe in fate.

“If one door closes, Allah will open a new one for you. Trust in Him, do your best, and Allah will do the rest.”

Congratulations, KJ! We can’t wait to see your next highlights in the media industry!
