Local influencer, Aisar Khaled is known not only for his financial-related content but also for graciously (and randomly) giving away money to his followers, or the public that he meets outside.
However, his recent act of giving away “free money” has received major criticism from the public as many were not happy with the way he gave out the cash. In his TikTok post, @aisarkhaledd.my he shared how the giveaway scene looked like.
Before the giveaway, people were already surrounding the field outside a mall in Shah Alam and Aisar, who was standing on a crane, started throwing the banknotes to the crowd who was already raising their hands even before the money was given away.
The crowd moved like a school of sardines when Aisar started throwing cash at them from the crane.
The cash was not the only gift that pleased the crowd because Aisar had another surprise in store for the lucky winner of the night. After the money giveaway, Aisar, who was still on the crane, presented a brand new Perodua Axia that was also meant to be given away to one of the lucky attendees.
In another TikTok post, Aisar revealed the lucky man who won himself the new ride.

While many thanked Aisar for the money and car giveaway, some netizens were not happy with how he decided to give away the money and believed that he could’ve done it in a better and civilised manner.
“I challenge you to donate to those who really need the money – old folks’ home, the worship places, the orphanages.”
“This is so sad. Is this how you’re donating?”
“Am I the one who think it looks like he’s feeding chicken?”
“I know you’re celebrating your birthday but there are better ways to do this.”
A few netizens highlighted that Aisar’s manner in donating is no different than feeding chickens.
“He makes it look like he’s spreading corn for chickens.”
“Please change your way of donating.”
“It’s better to donate those cash to the needy than giving to those who are crazy for money.”
