Sometimes people are just lazy when it comes to disposing of their own trash – from throwing their cigarette butts, letting a few napkins get blown away by the wind and the constant tossing of plastics into gutters.

But this one takes the cake.

Taking laziness to a whole new level, images of a man discarding a huge box of rubbish into a river in Terengganu has recently gone viral on social media.

You would think that the constant floods taking place all across Malaysia may have instilled a sense of civic-mindedness when it comes to caring for our rivers, right?

Wrong!

Shared by Facebook page Brainless Driver Malaysia Edition, these are images of a very irresponsible individual dumping a huge box from his 4×4 into the river.

Convenient right?

In the status, the page noted that the incident took place around 2.46 pm at Cheras BT 11 Sungai Langat.

Netizens commenting on the incident mentioned how disgusted they were at the sight of people who think that this would not have dire consequences not only on mother nature but communities in the area.

With the contents of the box still unknown, we sincerely hope that this will not be a repeat of the Sungai Kim Kim river incident.

Let’s hope that the culprits of this heinous crime be met with swift justice.
