It’s no secret that people like to pick and choose their favourite part of the chicken when ordering food at eateries. However, this is often subject to the availability of the chicken parts.

Popular Penang restaurant Nasi Kandar Sulaiman took to their Facebook page to share how a customer who had gotten a chicken breast with their meal and had already dug their hands into the chicken breast suddenly demanded a chicken thigh.

Chicken 1

The eatery wrote, “There was a customer who wanted to change their chicken part after they had taken their meal and was already sitting down with their hands in the chicken. It felt like they had already eaten a little bit of it.”

“The customer said they wanted a chicken thigh and not a chicken breast. They said they had told the staff earlier, but the staff said they had already informed them that we only had chicken breasts left.”

The restaurant went on to explain that they would have happily switched the chicken parts if the customer hadn’t touched the chicken on their plate.

Chicken 2

“The problem is that if they had asked for a change while being served their meal on the spot, we could have changed it. But they had taken their meal and were already sitting down with their hands in the chicken,”

“We said no and that there were only chicken breasts left in our onion chicken dish, but then they requested that we change it to a fried chicken thigh. The customer was very stubborn and raised their voice. We couldn’t do anything, so we had to give them the fried chicken thigh,” they added.

In the end, they gave the customer’s onion chicken that they had already touched to a stray cat.

“It’s hard to deal with people like this. You just have to be patient.”

What do you think of the customer’s actions? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
