Indonesian Shares How Her BF & His Deaf Brother Talk for Hours in Sign Language, Netizens are in Tears

Learning sign language might not seem immediately practical to some, but its value goes far beyond just communication. Even if you don’t use it all the time, it can come in really handy!

In a recent video that’s been bringing tears to everyone online, shared by user @jesiaach, she showcases a heartwarming moment of her boyfriend conversing in sign language with his deaf brother.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Jesi shared how her boyfriend picked up the American Sign Language (ASL) alphabet from his brother’s book and gradually became fluent as they grew up together.

The 21-year-old Indonesian woman expressed her excitement and curiosity whenever she witnessed her boyfriend and his brother conversing in sign language. She mentioned how they could talk for hours, as they always had a lot to discuss.

“It’s always amazing to see them chatting in sign language. They can go on for ages without stopping. It’s really something!”

The brother recommended some sign language resources available on the internet

In the video, the 2 brothers share a touching moment as they communicate in sign language. Jesi questioned her boyfriend what they were discussing, to which he explains they were discussing the accessibility issues for people with disabilities.

The boyfriend’s brother was thoughtful enough to share some online sign language resources with Jesi, knowing she had mentioned her interest in learning to her boyfriend previously.

Jesi continued to share that,

“For anyone interested in learning sign language, I encourage you not to hesitate. It’s a valuable skill that you’ll find useful. It’s a way to show respect for friends with disabilities and to normalise the idea that sign language is just another form of human communication. So, let’s all begin learning!”

 

Netizens were deeply moved by the heartfelt moment between the 2 brothers, prompting an outpouring of comments as they shared their thoughts.
