On 27 October, a Malaysian page called Kensomuse run by Kenneth posted a post titled “A Death in the Family”. The post had gone viral with 4,800 shares as of the time of writing. It details the death of Kenneth’s cousin’s husband on 26 October.
“A few hours ago, you left the house ready for work. You were looking forward to next month when you will see and hug your first-born.”
He added that although the pandemic has put a damper on things, life was still good. The expecting father was excited.
“I’m going to be a father soon.”
Kenneth detailed seeing his cousin brother-in-law happily cranking up his motorcycle before going on his way. Later on that night, the family received a phone call from the hospital which said,
“I’m sorry, but your husband has passed away in an accident.”
“I cannot imagine the shock & grief my 8-month pregnant cousin sister felt. Even now as I heard the news this morning, I’m still coming in terms with this reality.”
The death impacted them and they didn’t know what happened, all they knew was that it was a hit and run. The family is now appealing to anyone who has dashcam footage of the incident. The information is as below:
