The highly anticipated Tiffin Food Court was set to kick off on the 8th of December (Friday). However, just 2 hours before the event was set to start, official news came out that the organisers – Freeform Sdn Bhd had postponed the event.

The Tiffin Food Court was set to run for over 3 weekends before the New Year.Ā Billed as an ā€œexperiential food event’, it was to be held in a 30,000 square feet disused warehouse in Sungai Way Free Trade Industrial Zone and feature many different food vendors.

In a press statement, the organisers of the event said its decision in postponing the event was made to comply with newly raised queries by the authorities regarding the three-weekend food court in the zone.Ā In response to this, the team is said to be working very closely with relevant government bodies to reach a mutually beneficial arrangement that will bring Tiffin’s celebration of food and more to life.

ā€œConsulting regulatory bodies in an effort to comply with laws and regulations that vary from venue to venue, is part of our due diligence,ā€ said the statement. The organisers have yet to further explain the glitches that lead to the postponement.

For customers who have purchased pre-loaded wrist tags via Eventbrite, you may opt to hold onto their tickets until further announcements or ask for a refund at ym.niffitobfsctd-326bc3@pvsr.Ā All you have to do is present proof of purchase and contact details.

Let’s hope everything would be settled because we absolutely can’t wait to check it out!
