The interstate and interdistrict travel ban takes effect today (13 January) coinciding with the MCO and CMCO that’s being implemented in respective states of the country. Individuals who need to cross states or districts will be required to fill out an application form to get permission from the police.

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has since uploaded on their official Facebook page the relevant documents that Malaysians would need.

Individuals under MCO can visit this link to download the MCO travel permit form.

To make an application, follow these steps:

  1. Download the MCO or CMCO travel permit form from PDRM’s official website or social media platforms
  2. Fill out two (2) copies of the respective form
  3. Submit the two (2) completed forms at the police station for approval

We encourage everyone to stay at home as much as they can and to be extra cautious when going out to public places. Let’s work together to break the chain of infection.
