So, you’re at the office going about your usual work routine when you hear your colleague release a big cough. You’re almost certain her lungs would’ve exited her body at that point. Then, at another corner, you hear someone blowing their nose like no tomorrow, motivated to get their nose unstuck, to no avail.
Everyone seemed to be falling sick! Please, just don’t let it be my turn you hope to yourself.
So, why does it seem like everyone else around you (and maybe you included) is getting ill?
Well, apparently, the flu season is here.
Influenza, also known as the the common cold or flu, is described as a highly contagious viral infection targeting the respiratory system.
As a tropical country, it occurs pretty much all year round, with the peak season occurring during October to January, as reported by The Star.
No wonder everyone kena lah!
Besides these months, April to June is also known as another peak season. So best get yourself guarded!
