During the recent Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, where everyone came out in support of their countries in the name of good sportsmanship, many of us also couldn’t help but notice some of the really good-looking athletes that took part in the games.

One athlete in particular caught nearly everyone’s attention, and he happens to be from royalty, too!

Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei, apart from (obviously) being a prince, also plays polo. In fact, he’s so good at the sport that he represented his country at this year’s SEA Games, and even won the bronze medal!

Aside from being really, really, ridiculously good-looking, Prince Mateen also lives a glamorous, jet-set life. Here are just some of the things we think are incredibly luxurious and well, fit for a prince!

1. His pet tiger cubs

Prince Mateen loves animals, especially tigers. In fact, he loves them so much that he even has some of them as pets! What?!

Yup, Istana Nurul Iman, the place in which Prince Mateen and his family officially reside, is considered the largest private residence in the world in terms of floor area.

The palace reportedly has 1,788 bedrooms, 257 bathrooms, a banquet hall that can be expanded to accommodate up to 5,000 guests, a mosque that can accommodate 1,500 people, an air-conditioned stable for 200 polo ponies, and 5 swimming pools.

Oh, and did we mention their garage? We honestly think that deserves a spot of its own!

3. His family’s car collection is INSANE

So, speaking of their garage, the Brunei royal family has a HUGE car collection!

At one point, the Sultan of Brunei’s car collection was rumoured to consist of about 5,000 cars. Woah!

So, the Brunei royal family also has an incredibly expensive residence right in the heart of London, and it’s none-other than St John’s Lodge in Regent’s Park!

Check out the scenic view surrounding the mansion!

5. What’s a royal family without their private plane?

Every royal family is bound to have a private jet. It looks pretty normal from the outside, but it’s the interior that’s got everyone’s jaws to the floor! Just check it out for yourself!

Yes, that’s all inside a plane! Crazy, right?!

Well, there you have it. Just a small peek into Prince Mateen’s daily life. On top of his talent and good looks, it’s no wonder everyone’s so crazy about him! He still single, ah? Asking for a friend!
