Here’s Everything You Need To Know About PM’s CMCO Announcement

In his public address dated 10th May 2020, Prime  Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has announced that the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) will be extended until the 9th June 2020.

Following the extension announcement, several other important points were also mentioned by the Prime Minister in his address as summarised in the list below:

  1. Balik kampung for Raya is still not allowed.
  2. Visitation amongst neighbours in the same area is permitted with a maximum of 20 people at one time.
  3. SOP for religious premises such as temples will be announced soon so people may visit and exercise their religion.
  4. Husbands and wives will be allowed leeway to do inter-state travel which includes travel to Sabah and Sarawak via the Gerak Malaysia app or application at local police stations.
  5. Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) appeal process will be extended until 31st May 2020.
