At a fast paced life nowadays, it’s easy to lose sight of things once in awhile. Being bombarded with work and social activities, we tend to put off even the closest and important thing to us – family.
Recently, a tweet featuring an image of a grandfather went viral as it breaks the hearts of people all over the world, leaving the internet in tears.
The tweet was posted by Kelsey, who tweeted a picture of her loving grandfather that made 12 burgers to be shared by his 6 grandchildren, but sadly only ONE showed up.
Kelsey revealed in her tweet that her Papaw was left devastated that no one else decided to show for him home cooked burgers.
The grandpa who was initially excited for the burger feast is seen sitting across the table from Kelsey, looking down at his burger – one of the 12 he made that night in anticipation of spending the evening with his family.
Since the image was shared online, it has left huge impacts on people to make themselves realize that no matter how busy we are, we should never take family for granted and appreciate the time spent with them.
The original post be retweeted by more than 84,000 people and favorited nearly 150,000 times within 24 hours of being posted!
Some twitter users were furious at her cousins that they even sent them hate messages which prompted Kelsey to asked them not to.
It’s good to know Papaw is fine. One even went back to make amends!
At least it was a happy ending for Papaw :’)
