Health DG: 15 New Positive Covid-19 Cases, 42 Discharged & No Deaths Today

According to a live stream by the Ministry of Health on Facebook, there are 15 new cases in Malaysia today (27th May) as of 12pm, bringing the total number of cases to 7,619 cases. There are currently 1,421 active cases. Out of the 15 cases reported, 6 cases are imported, 4 cases are foreigners and 5 cases are Malaysians.

Of all these cases reported, 8 patients are said to be in critical condition now and 4 cases are in need of respiratory equipment to help keep them breathing.

42 cases have been discharged today and the total number of patients discharged since February is 6,083 cases.

There is no addition of  death cases today bringing the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Malaysia to 115 cases.

These latest numbers should indicate that we need to accept the new normal by maintaining good hygiene and practising social distancing at all times.
