Imagine having fun at an event and your good times are cut short when someone breaks the rules. A Raya Fiesta recently had to be shut down after Azmin Ali’s brother, Azwan Ali was seen performing Dangdut on the stage.

The video of Azwan dancing on the stage went viral on social media and one of the Malaysians who shared it on his TikTok page @saifulnizam769 was baffled and shocked to see Azwan dancing on the stage. Azwan, who is also a television host was not alone on the stage. A few other men were also there dancing along with him.

Following the closure of the fiesta, the organiser issued an apology via a Facebook post and clarified that Azwan Ali, commonly known as Diva AA was not supposed to be part of the show.

“We thought Diva AA was merely joking because he was not part of the invitation. He was invited by another TikToker who was also one of the vendors at the fiesta.”

According to the statement, the organiser received a harsh warning from the district’s ADUN, who wanted the fiesta to be shut down immediately.

“March 30 (Saturday) will be our last day of operation. We truly apologise to everyone in Kedah, especially the Muslims.”

An influencer, Eira Aziera, who was also one of the vendors at the fiesta expressed her sadness in her TikTok @eiraaziera6699 in seeing the fate of other vendors there who didn’t have the chance the earn more due to the closure.

“We were asked to leave in 24 hours, when we haven’t even done anything wrong. We were not the one dancing.”

“As long as my face is everywhere in the poster!”

Diva AA is well aware of the closure and last night (March 31), he responded to Eira regarding the matter via his TikTok @divaaavazz2024tersohor. He was not happy that his name was mentioned as the reason for the closure.

“Wherever I perform, it’s none of your business, as long as I get paid and my face is everywhere in the poster. Who are you to mention my name?”

Do you think other vendors should be “punished” for the incident?
