For many of us growing up as kids, we probably are familiar with the premise of turning to our parents when we go shopping at Toys’r Us (back then, zaman dinosaur ok) when we want a new toy. It’s probably a pretty familiar sight, since we don’t have money of our own to afford anything yet right? And allowance also sikit-sikit only.

But for one 10-year-old boy, he is already setting an example that our younger selves should probably look up to after making the decision to start his own business selling fresh mango juice so that he can save up to afford a PlayStation 4 of his own!

This incredible feat came about after 10-year-old Danish Izzuddin had asked his parents for the game console, but was told that he could only get it if he got first place in his school examinations. Determined to find other ways to get the game console of his dreams, he decided to take on his father’s suggestion of selling mango juice as a business to earn money, in the same footsteps as his mother who sells jeruk mangga.

With his sister, 17-year-old Sally Nur Dinie helping out on the marketing side of things by promoting his little business over Facebook and Twitter, his enterprise quickly boomed.

In an interview with mStar, Sally told the Malay paper that despite living in Puchong themselves, people who lived outside of state were willing to place orders, some as many as 100 bottles, to be distributed to others.

“I was very shocked because many Malaysians were willing to support the business despite how we are all going through the Movement Control Order together.” she said.

“They are willing to help support my brother’s business. I wish them nothing but health and safety always. Thank you so much.”

The juices, which are completely blended by hand by Danish himself using fresh mangoes, are bottled up and then couriered to customers across Malaysia.

The story, which has gained a huge following, garnered a lot of praise from local Malaysians who were both touched and inspired by young Danish’s understanding of hard work and determination at his tender age. If you wish to help support Danish and his sister’s business, you may contact them over Twitter here to place your orders.

To Danish, we hope that your business flourishes and commend you for working towards your aspirations at such a young age!
