A few men on the MRT train were spotted occupying the women’s coach, and some got too comfortable by resting their bare feet on the seats.

The matter was shared by a Xiao Hong Shu (RED) user, who said that she reached out to RapidKL’s helpline via WhatsApp and expressed her frustration in a text. RapidKL immediately responded to her text and it took them only minutes to deploy a staff member to the women’s coach to take action.

“The staff got into the train and told the men to leave the women’s coach, and they did. RapidKL responded promptly.”
According to the woman, one of the men allegedly took out his mobile phone and tried to take a video of her. In response, she took out her mobile phone, took pictures of the men who found comfort in the women’s coach and sent the pictures to RapidKL.

One of the pictures shows the women’s coach on the MRT Putrajaya line being barely occupied yesterday (April 2).
Social media users, particularly women, also shared their experiences in going through a similar fate in the women’s coach.

“This is exactly the coach where I experienced a similar thing, and I reached out to RapidKL on WhatsApp.”

“They did it on purpose. They took out their phone to intimidate you, and some of them would do so even if you’re with another man. I’ve experienced this.”
One of them, however, said that she told the men to leave the women’s coach without reaching out to RapidKL.

“I noticed most women would reach out to RapidKL but am I too brave for confronting the men on the spot, and telling them to leave?”
Ladies, what would you do if you spotted men in the women’s coach?
