Finding the perfect birthday gift for our loved ones is often a headache for some of us. This lady however, is creative enough to come up with a brilliant birthday present for her boyfriend!
Recently, a video clip of a Vietnamese girl baking and decorating a homemade birthday cake for her boyfriend has been going viral on social media, China Press reported. But what makes this mere act so widely circulated?
Laid between the layers of the sponge cake she was baking is a brand new iPhone X, still packaged neatly in its box.

The spongecake is cut into half, with a hollow hole in the centre of the cake. The iPhone X is placed into the hollow space of the cake, with cream and chocolate filling at its side. She then places the other half of the cake above, and covers the hole with the original piece of cake cut out for the hole. And voilà, it looks like any other ordinary cake!

Cream is then spread all over the cake, covering it as a whole. For the decoration, bank notes are rolled into a cylindrical shape and stuck around the cake on its side, along with fresh strawberries and raspberries strategically spread atop the cake. The girlfriend gives the cake a final touch by writing her boyfriend’s name on it.
This attracted the attention of Vietnamese netizens instantly, with some of them tagging their girlfriends in the comment section, hinting that they should learn a thing or two from the girl. Some netizens expressed their admiration for the boyfriend, while some thought that the extravagant gift was uncalled for, saying that it is the thought that counts, not the materialistic value.
