There’s never a good time to be stuck in traffic, especially not with the uncertainties about how long it will last. Other than that, the urge to use the toilet is also hard to resist when nature calls.
Sometimes, the thirst and craving for a drink can also make traffic unbearable. However, for many drivers who were caught in traffic recently, it was their lucky day when they met a man by the street who was there for one sole purpose – to quench everyone’s thirst. In a TikTok post by @zai.ismail, a man with 2 children by his side was seen distributing drinks to the drivers who were stuck in traffic.
None of them needed to pay for the beverages because they were on the house! The man made it clear by putting a “FREE” sign by the bucket of drinks to assure everyone that no one will be charged for the sweet beverages.
The nearest access to food & beverage could be miles away and only God knows how much the man has helped the drivers on that day, albeit by only distributing drinks, nonetheless a small act that meant a lot to others.
When the beverages were ALL distributed, the kids helped the man to pack things up.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Zai, the Malaysian woman who shared the TikTok clip said that the incident actually took place during Raya Haji at the end of June, and she was on the way back to Gua Musang, Kelantan for the season.
The incident also took place in Gua Musang itself, meaning Zai was already near her destination.
When asked about the duration of the traffic, Zai told WORLD OF BUZZ that she couldn’t remember about it.
Who is the generous man on the street?
If you look through the comment sections, many Malaysian netizens were familiar with the face and revealed that the man is actually running a car wash business in Gua Musang itself.
In the meantime, other netizens also expressed their gratitude for the man’s kind act.
“That’s the owner of a car wash in Gua Musang, and he’s a generous man.”
“May God bless you.”
“He’s the owner of a car wash business in Gua Musang.”
“Thank God. Thank you, kind man.”
“I hope he gains more for what he gives.”
“That’s my cousin’s son, and he runs a car wash business.”

To others, it may be only a drink but to many others, it’s sincerity, kindness, and the willingness to work under the scorching sun to feed the strangers for free. We hope everything goes well for the kind man! To those in the area, are you familiar with the man?
