Pasir Mas UMNO division chief Noor Hariri Mohamed Noor is NOT happy about the news of the gay party in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, recently, and to him, it is a major embarrassment.
PDRM also said that it was the first time such a case was detected in Kelantan. Although the police did not mention the use of drugs, Noor Hariri linked the depravity to the use of drugs.

For illustration purposes only
“It’s a shame that a gay party happened in the Serambi Makkah (Porch of Mecca)!”
“It is common knowledge that all the depravity that happens in this country stems from drug addiction.”
Noor Hariri urged the Kelantan state government to be more vigilant and work together with the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) in efforts to eliminate drug addiction and immoral activities in the state. According to him, the role of all parties is essential to support the actions of Kelantan Police Chief, Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat, in the war against drugs.
“The leaders cannot just sit and shake their legs because all of this is their responsibility to carry out awareness activities for the community,” he said, reported Sinar Harian.

Noor Hariri also stressed that elected representatives should not give up on the excuse that drug problems happen everywhere, and not just in Kelantan, saying that “an irresponsible and egotistical attitude does not help the authorities.”
“If the state government still has the stagnant mentality of ‘everyone is wrong but I’m right’, it means that Kelantan will remain in the same old rut with an imbalance in the physical and spiritual development of its people.”
Earlier, PDRM in Kelantan busted a gay party, in which 20 men with HIV were detained, who also admitted to providing free services to those who were willing.
