Prior to finding a job and speaking to your potential employer, it’s important to enhance your resume to convince the recruiter that you’re the right fit for the job.
As an employer, it’s on you to make the vacant positions public and be upfront about what you are expecting from your potential candidates. Local influencer Gatita Yan is currently hiring for her Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) project in KL & PJ area, and she’s offering anything between RM3,000 & RM5,000.
That sounds like a good deal for you to survive in KL, but before we get into the criteria that she’s looking for, let’s talk about something else that she wants to see.
In this rare circumstance, the employer wants you to submit your horoscope, which includes your date of birth and your time of birth. In some cases, these details can be sensitive in Feng Shui’s context but Gatita did not disclose her reason for needing those info.
In case you’re interested, here’s what Gatita is looking for:
- The ability to follow up with clients
- Disciplined, responsible, and displays leadership skills
- Passionate and not lazy
In the job ad which she posted on her IG story last night (April 27), Gatita reminded the potential candidates to reach out to her instead of asking her to DM them.
“Sounds like a Hongkie employer”
With such a rare requirement, it did not take long for her job ad to go viral, and many netizens couldn’t help but to relate her with employers from Hong Kong, where some of them have the tendency to ask for candidates’ horoscopes during the hiring process.
“Hong Kong has tons of employers who have this habit.”
“Some employers from Hong Kong do care about these details. I’ve been there.”
“She looks like an employer who’s tough to please.”
“Looks more to me like choosing a husband.”
Another netizen pointed out his fear of those details being misused.
“What if you pull a voodoo on me with those details? I think I’m gonna keep those details to myself, or the consequences will be unimaginable.”
Why do you think Gatita is asking for horoscopes for her NFT project?
