Omi, the globally recognised online dating and social community app, recently hosted its first major event in Malaysia, Love Is On MY Way, to great success. Held in Lot 10 from 10-11 October and Sunway Velocity Mall on 12 October, the event inspired attendees to reflect on the many forms of love, including romantic, platonic, familial, and self-love.

The event’s main highlight was the interactive Love Style voting board, inspired by Omi’s in-app quiz that helps users understand their unique approach to love. Each Love Style is paired with a corresponding Love Language – a widely known and embraced concept in Malaysia. The interactive voting board allowed participants to learn about their Love Style while gaining insights into how they express and receive love.

The event also featured exciting giveaways, including IN2IT makeup products, TGV Indulge movie tickets, Sephora and H&M vouchers worth RM100, Touch ’n Go cash worth RM500, Polaroid pictures, soap roses, and exclusive Omi memberships, making the experience even more rewarding for participants.

Omilove Photobooth

In addition to the in-person event, Omi extended the celebration to social media with a special online challenge on Instagram. Attendees could scan a QR code to access Omi’s This Is Love My Way AddYours sticker to share their unique expressions of love. Those who could not attend the event were still able to participate online, with the chance to win a free Omi Supreme membership for their creative contributions.
