Amidst the panicking due to the Covid-19 outbreak, there seems to a ray of hope with the hiring of this familiar face. The whole nation applauded the way our former Health Minister handled the Covid-19 crisis and was genuinely sorry when he lost his position due to the formation of the backdoor government.

This morning, Selangor Chief Minister, Amirudin Shari confirmed in a Facebook post that YB Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad has been hired to head a task force to monitor the virus development in Selangor as currently, 60% of the affected patients are Selangorians.

He added that with the cooperation of the Smart Selangor Command Centre, the Covid-19 virus can be tracked using the Geographic Information System. This information will then be shared with the parties in charge of further action. The minister reassured that the public do not need to panic as the situation is still under control. Prevention steps are being taken under the Ministry of Health’s guidelines.

This news will definitely come as a relief during these trying times. Congratulation to YB Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad on his new position and we’re sure he will do an amazing job at handling this outbreak.
