A 16-year-old female student fell from the 8th floor of her school in Kuala Lumpur on March 1 (Saturday). She was found by another classmate and was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, reported China Press.

Just yesterday (March 3), the school published an official statement regarding the student’s injury and assured the public that her condition is now stable.

“After the incident, the school immediately initiated emergency measures and contacted medical rescue. The student is now receiving appropriate treatment.”

The school pointed out that this incident has caused much speculation from the public, and the management has called on the public to stop spreading unverified news to avoid more harm to the victim’s family.

“We hereby ask for your understanding and support and let’s extend the compassionate care.

“We anticipate the prompt return of the injured student, and we wish her a speedy recovery.”

In October 2024, a Form 1 female student from the same school also fell from the 8th floor. Unfortunately, unlike the recent incident, the Form 1 student did not make it, which was also confirmed by the school itself.

The management of the school also reminded the public not to engage in any informal discussion about the matter which would add more emotional strain to those involved.
