A Form 3 student is currently in critical condition after allegedly being the victim of bullying in a school dormitory in Sabak Bernam, Selangor.

The results of a CT scan found that the victim suffered bleeding on the left and right sides of his brain, as well as a broken jaw and lung injuries.

Fall 1

The school told the mother that the victim had fallen from the third floor

However, Sinar Harian quoted the victim’s mother, 43-year-old Siti Muhaini Mohammad Mansor, as saying that she was told by the school that her son, Ahmad Irfan Ahmad Hanafi, fell from the 3rd floor of the school’s dormitory after suffering a stomachache.

“If it were true that he fell from the third floor, he would have had a broken skull. But the scan results only showed that his jaw was broken. That’s why we suspect there was an element of bullying,” she said.

A police report has since been filed

Following this, she filed a report at the Sabak Bernam Police Station at 5 AM today ( August 26).

She added that she was also informed that 5 students had been detained by the police for investigations, but so far, they have all refused to give statements.

At the same time, she also questioned the actions of the school and accused the school of being late in informing her of the incident.

“My family was only informed at 4 AM, when the incident happened at around 2 AM. The warden said that Irfan fell from the third floor after eating instant noodles. But, in the medical report, there was no food residue in his stomach,”

“Before this, he had never shown any problems with his friends. Ahmad Irfan was indeed active; he had a position in the dormitory’s religious bureau,” she explained.

Ahmad Irfan is currently hospitalised and is still under close medical supervision.
